Super Waffles!

February 03, 2012

The master of gourmet waffle sandwiches, Bruxie, will be naming the champion of the Super Bowl via a Super Bowl inspired Bruxie that will represent each team kicking off Saturday at 11 a.m. Fans can feast on a Patriot’s New England Lobster Bruxie or a Giant’s New York Bruxie during the Surf vs. Turf “Battle of the Bruxies” at its Old Towne Orange and Brea Downtown locations. The number of Bruxies sold for each team will determine the Battle of the Bruxies winner announced on Super Bowl Sunday.

Patriots fans can order a classic New England Lobster Bruxie with live lobsters flown-in and prepared in New England classic style with some mayo, sea salt, pepper and chive, and served on a Bruxie waffle; and Giants fans can savor a  roasted New York Bruxie featuring a hand carved medium New York strip with caramelized red onion, New York cheddar, wild arugula, a touch of horseradish and Balsamic reduction.

Bruxie is at 292 North Glassell St. in Orange. 714.633.3900; 215 W Birch St. Ste. 1 in Brea. 714.255.1188.
