ARC Founders Introduce Sister Concepts Restaurant Marin and The Guild
Partners in marriage and in their DirtySexyHappiness Hospitality Group, Marín Howarth von Blöm and Chef Noah von Blöm are introducing two new restaurant concepts this year.
Restaurant Marin and The Guild are scheduled to open in December at SOCO in Costa Mesa, adjacent to the restaurateurs’ acclaimed American Roast House, ARC focused on hearty, rustic, oven-to-table food made with locally sourced, fresh ingredients and artisan-crafted products.
Here’s a sneak peak into their new concepts:
Marin
Named after managing partner Marin Howarth von Blöm, this fresh, Southern California concept will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert from 7 a.m. to midnight daily. Chef Noah Blöm brings a modern day diner to life, complete with classic desserts, pies, and crumbles. Cocktails are made fresh and bottled daily, with a rotating menu of homemade sodas and fresh craft juice blends that will change with the seasons. Décor in the fresh modern-deco space will feature gilded-era ideals with nickel, indigo, turquoise, and white with black accents. Guests can enjoy fine dining quality in a 1,000-square-foot, fast-casual setting with marble tables and dark blue leather booths.
The Guild
Described by Chef/Partner Noah Blöm as the original Gentleman’s Club or Winston Churchill’s Den where simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Classics cocktails will be made from scratch using superior spirits and technique. Stylistically traditional European beers and a crafted wine list will complement Chef Noah’s classic menu. The 1,000-square-foot restaurant, which shares walls with sister concepts ARC and Marin, presents a more exclusive, reservation-only dinner experience, complete with classic butler service until 2 a.m. daily. The space features an exaggerated, almost theatrical glimpse into late 19th century fine dining with card tables and wingback chairs.
Open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
ARC is at SOCO at 3321 Hyland Ave., Suite F in Costa Mesa. 949.500.5561.
