Closing Night NB Film Fest

The eight day run of the Newport Beach Film Festival will come to a close tonight with the west coast premiere of CHEF screening at 7:30 p.m. at the Regency Lido Theatre in Newport Beach.

Written and directed by Jon Favreau, CHEF tells the story of a chef who loses his restaurant job and starts a food truck business to reclaim his creative promise, while piecing back together his estranged family. CHEF stars Jon Favreau, Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson, as well as John Leguizamo, Sofía Vergara, Dustin Hoffman, Bobby Cannavale, Amy Sedaris, Oliver Platt. Cast and crew are scheduled to appear at the red carpet starting at 6:30 p.m. and screening.

You can join the Newport Beach Film Festival’s Closing Night Gala presented by the Los Angeles Times at Via Lido Plaza. Guests will be treated to entertainment and hors d’oeuvres prepared by award-winning restaurants along with a hosted bar by Stella Artois. Tickets cost $75 for film and party only; $40 party only.
