ABBA Comes to The Lido Theater for a Two-Night Celebration

February 20, 2026

Get ready for a feel-good celebration of ABBA as The Lido Theater brings the music to life on both the big screen and the stage with two special events designed for longtime fans and new listeners alike.

The fun begins Thursday, March 5, 2026, with a screening of Mamma Mia! Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the movie starts at 7 p.m. The beloved movie musical, set on a sun-soaked Greek island, is packed with infectious ABBA hits, joyful energy and plenty of moments that will have audiences singing along in their seats. Tickets are available online and early booking is recommended.

The celebration continues Saturday, March 7, 2026, with a live concert by ABBA LA, The ABBA Tribute Band. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. With sparkling vocals and nonstop momentum, the high-energy tribute performance brings ABBA’s iconic catalog to life and turns the theater into a disco-era dance party. From cinematic escapism to a full-throttle concert night, it is a chance to experience ABBA from every angle. Tickets available here.

The Lido Theater’s live music lineup continues this spring with Gipsy Kings featuring Tonino Baliardo in March, followed by The Long Run in June, bringing more iconic sounds and unforgettable performances to Newport Beach.

Set inside the beautifully restored Lido Theater, every seat feels close to the stage, creating an intimate and electric concert experience. With no drink minimums and complimentary parking, it is an easy and enjoyable night out. World-class talent meets a close-up concert setting, making each show feel special.
