Casa Barilla Reopens, Retained 100% of Employees During Closure

Casa Barilla, the fast-casual pasta concept from lauded Barilla brand, is reopening on Thursday, June 11 at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa for dine-in, takeout, curbside pickup, and delivery. Dine-in service will be at limited capacity in accordance with local regulations and takeout and delivery orders can be made through UberEats, Postmates, DoorDash, and Grubhub. In preparation for the opening, Casa Barilla worked with Barilla’s Food Safety Experts and NSF International (an independent, non-profit organization that certifies food safety) to craft strict safety guidelines to protect the health of both employees and guests. Selanne Steak Tavern, an upscale steak house located in a historic 1934 home along South Coast Highway, reopened for limited dine-in service, nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. The restaurant’s takeaway menus will continue to be available for curbside pick-up.
