Napa in Newport Wine Auction brings together 30 renowned vintners and wine enthusiasts to help find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a fatal genetic disease that robs children and young adults of their muscle strength and claims their lives by their mid-20s. All proceeds from the evening will benefit CureDuchenne, the national organization committed to finding a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. After the devastating fire that closed the Anaheim White House restaurant, chef/owner Bruno Serato’s staff were left unemployed. Top OC chefs and restaurateurs are stepping into help his employees with an event on Presidents' Day, Monday, Feb. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Highway 39 Event Center in Anaheim.
