On Episode #2 of the Greer's SoCal Show we talked to Chef Thomas Curran of Costa Mesa who is getting ready to embark on a walk across the United States with his dog Wink. He's walking to raise funds for Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, as well as to challenge himself and go on an adventure of a lifetime. He's leaving in early February from Holden Beach, North Carolina and will walk until he can jump in the water at the Newport Beach Pier some 8-9 months later. ‘The Happiest 5k on the Planet’ Coming to Huntington Beach

The Color Run, also known as "the Happiest 5k on the Planet," is coming to Huntington Beach on Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Huntington Beach State Park. It’s considered the world's largest event series, catering to all skill levels and ages in more than 30 countries.
