Valentine’s Day Dining At SeaLegs

Celebrate your love this Valentine’s Day at SeaLegs Wine Bar in Huntington Beach, a three-time Best Californian Cuisine Golden Foodie Award winner. It’s offering special Valentine’s Day dishes on Saturday, Feb. 14 along with its full regular menu of seasonal California shared plates.

And, of course you can enjoy limited production wines, hand-selected craft beers, craft cocktails. SeaLegs boasts a Hampton’s inspired décor with a beautiful glass encased 2,000-bottle wine cellar as a backdrop.

Valentine’s Day dishes include Seafood Chowder, with crab, salmon, clams, with a lobster cream broth served in a bread bowl with paprika oil and micro celery ($12); or a Baby Beet Salad with poached pears, goat cheese mousse, blood orange, pistachio, nasturtium, balsamic reduction ($12); Block New York Steak and Lobster Thermidor with a 8oz. block New York and a baked Maine lobster in a Cognac Gruyere cheese sauce, roasted garlic mash potatoes, grilled broccolini, red wine demi glace ($60); or a Pan Seared Halibut, with sunchoke puree, sauteeed arugula, roasted tomatoes, fried capers, grilled lemon ($28).

Dessert choices include Blood Orange Cheesecake $12, Earl Grey Creme Brûlée $12, SeaLegs-ookie $12, Tres Leches $12, and Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream $12 (pictured above).

Sixth Annual Monarch Butterfly Day

OC Parks invites families to learn about Monarch Butterflies and their natural habitat with a close look at the “king” of the butterflies at the Sixth Annual Monarch Butterfly Day on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley.

It’s free to attend, parking costs $5. Recommended for children ages 4 to 12.
