Turkey TROT FOR CHARITY!

November 21, 2016

Looking for a fun way to work up an appetite before this year’s Thanksgiving meal?  You can still sign up for the Orange County Rescue Mission’s 3rd annual Turkey Trot 5k walk/run in Tustin on Thanksgiving Day at 8 a.m.!

The 5K run/walk at the Village of Hope is a great way to spend time outdoors while also helping families in need.

Packages range from $30 to $178, and all registration fees help to provide hot meals to homeless families. After completing one of the flattest USA Track & Field Certified 5k courses in Orange County, Turkey Trot participants will enjoy post-race awards and treats! This year, the goal of the Turkey Trot is to gain enough support to supply 30,000 meals for the homeless men, women and children living in Orange County. To register online, visit turkeytrotoc.com.

Registration opens at 6:30 a.m.; the 5k Run/Walk starts at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24.

The Village of Hope is at 1 Hope Drive in Tustin.
