Tiffany & Co. Celebrates the Magic of the Season

November 22, 2016

A must-see this season are Tiffany & Co.’s stunning holiday windows at South Coast Plaza. The holiday theme, “Make the World Sparkle,” evokes the glamorous sparkle and spirit of a New York Christmas. You can see a dazzling depiction of the façade of the Fifth Avenue flagship store with snowdrifts sweeping onto the main floor and Tiffany Keys artfully arranged at the base of the Art Deco vault doors.

Framing the miniature flagship is an illuminated spray of diamonds inspired by the fireworks display created for the Tiffany Diamond at the 1939 New York World’s Fair. One window display features Rockefeller Center with Prometheus in gold leaf and a jewel-trimmed tree with angels, while another features a snow-capped silhouette of a city with a glittering chandelier, icicles and mini Tiffany Blue Box wreaths.

The depiction is in honor of the magic season and the sense of surprise, passion and delight that Tiffany jewels inspire. “Make the World Sparkle,” is both a call to action to make the world a brighter place, as well as an invitation to give a gift that lights someone up with joy. The ultimate gift: a Tiffany Blue Box and the sparkling present within it.

It’s not just what’s inside the Blue Box that sparkles. The person who is given the gift also shines—as does the world around them. Tiffany’s jewelry is renowned for its unparalleled brilliance, from the cut and clarity of the stones to its namesake setting. A gift from Tiffany is not a fleeting moment of elation, it holds a lasting significance and brings loved ones even closer together.

Open 10 a.m.  to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Tiffany & Co. is on Level 1 at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. 714.540.5330.
