St. Regis Valentine’s Dinner + David Yurman Bracelet
The award-winning Stonehill Tavern at The St. Regis Monarch Beach is offering an intimate five-course dinner on February 14 and a limited edition David Yurman bracelet (not available in-store or online) with the purchase of a bottle of Champagne.
Valentine’s Day 2016 starts with Salt-Baked Heirloom Beets with taleggio feuille de brick, tahitian vanilla, blood orange vinaigrette---paired with Domaine Tempier Rose, Bandol, France 2014.
The next course, Japanese Madai with hearts of palm, tosaka nori, oyster and pearls--paired with Sans Liege White Blend Cotes-du-Coast, Central Coast 2011. The next course, Michael’s Lobster Pot Pie served with baby vegetables, brandied-lobster cream, fines herbs—paired with Domaine J.M. Boilloit ‘pitures’ 1ER Cru, Volnay, Burgundy, France 2012. The next course, Dry-Aged Striploin served with sweet potato fondant, hedgehog, sauce Beaujolais—paired with Casella Cabernet Sauvignon 1919, South Australia 2006.
The last course, Speculoos Tart served with caramelized rice, bergamot marmalade and dark milk chocolate sorbet---paired with Hibiki 12 year whisky, Japan, served neat.
The five-course dinner is $150 per person; optional wine pairing is $85.
