Slapfish Supports Bracken’s Kitchen for Hunger Action Month
It’s crazy to think that 21% of children in Orange County are food insecure. When it comes to hunger, every one of us is touched in some way or another. Chef Andrew Gruel, founder of Slapfish, Two Birds & Butterleaf firmly believes this is a problem we can all fix through awareness, dialogue, and action. To help Chef Bill Bracken serve those people suffering from the ongoing effects of poverty and hunger, he’s hosting a month long fundraiser at the original Huntington Beach Slapfish for all of September in support of Bracken’s Kitchen.
Slapfish is offering two ways to contribute to raising money for Chef Bill Bracken to buy his vitally needed second food truck.
For the month of September, Slapfish Huntington Beach will donate 50 per cent of the sales of their “Sweet Pow Shrimp & Lobster Bowl” to Bracken’s Kitchen. The second option is to donate $10 to Bracken’s Kitchen and be rewarded with a free lobster roll (a $22 value menu item.)
All support and donations will go towards a second food truck.
Visit brackenskitchen.com to make a donation and claim your Lobster Roll at the Splapfish Huntington Beach store.
Open daily 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
