Sidecar Doughnuts Now Open Late and For Lunch
Sidecar’s flagship Costa Mesa location opened in 2012 serving the freshest doughnuts made from scratch with only the finest ingredients. To this day, there’s still quite a line to get in for their artisan doughnuts such as Passion Fruit Pavlova, Huckleberry, Maple Bacon and Saigon Cinnamon Crumb. They only use fresh, seasonal products and make everything in house from real ingredients—infused glazes, hand crushed compotes, flavored custards and creams, and even homemade pie crust and streusel crumble toppings. Flavor selection change monthly, with a new weekly Gluten Free option announced on Monday.
For the first time, Sidecar is now open until 9 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday nights and 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Sidecar Costa Mesa is also serving a different made-to-order savory lunch doughnut each month.
The savory doughnut is served made-to-order from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily. For the month of August, they’re doing a Carolina Pulled Pork Malasada with Sidecar's signature Malasada doughnut topped with slow-roasted pork, house made Carolina-style BBQ sauce and cole slaw. Last month, it was a Bánh Mì Doughnut, filled with BBQ pork, house pickled carrots & daikon, cucumbers, jalapenos and a house made cilantro mayonnaise. Next month, you'll have to wait and see!
Open daily at 6:30 a.m.; Monday - Wednesday until 4 p.m.; Thursday - Saturday until 9 p.m. ;
Sunday until 6 p.m.
Sidecar Doughnuts is at 270 E. 17th St. in Costa Mesa. 949.873.5424
