April 07, 2024

Sheraton Redding Hotel at the Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay Exploration Park present the inaugural Glowing Wild Lantern Festival at Turtle Bay’s McConnell Botanical Gardens, available on select dates until May 26, 2024. Celebrating the Year of the Dragon, this enchanting event illuminates ten acres of botanical splendor with majestic Asian lantern displays inspired by global wildlife and flora.

Enjoy a family-friendly experience with larger-than-life illuminated exhibits, themed music, four Lantern Lounges, glowing swings, and bubble machines. Indulge in culinary delights and beverages while basking in live performances on the community stage.

Begin your journey by crossing the iconic Sundial Bridge over the Sacramento River, leading to the garden entrance adorned with food and beverage offerings. Meander through winding paths enveloped by artfully illuminated displays, including a stunning 100-foot-long Dragon Lantern and a towering 30-foot Buttery Tree adorned with radiant butterflies.

Discover lantern tributes to local wildlife like turtles, skunks, and badgers, alongside global icons such as tigers, pandas, and zebras. Elevate your dining experience with private Lantern Lounges, offering exclusive access for up to eight guests, wood-fired pizzas, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, and commemorative keepsakes.

Located steps away from Sheraton Redding Hotel, Turtle Bay Museum, and scenic trails, the Glowing Wild Lantern Festival promises an unforgettable fusion of nature, culture, and culinary delights.
