Project Protect & Serve

May 14, 2020

Jenae Sperling, 16, a sophomore at Mission Viejo High School spearheaded something spectacular for first responders during the pandemic. She decided to get involved and start a cause called “Project Protect & Serve” to raise awareness within the community to give back to those on the front lines.

Jenae has sent thousands of cards, posters, and meals to many local hospitals, police, American Red Cross to name just a few. She has the backing of a few amazing restaurants supporting her cause and stepping up to help those who are helping those affected by the coronavirus. Every week she coordinates, schedules, and fills her spots for delivery of hot delicious meals all accompanied by hand made notes, cards, & posters of appreciation for every meal.

She loves serving all who are truly helping on the front lines from healthcare workers, police, fire, animal services, and many more. She’s looking for more restaurants and mask makers who would love to donate. You can email opportunities/requests to sperlfam@cox.net.
