Plenty of Places to Eat with Your Dog at Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant Week

February 21, 2022

Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant Week & Cocktail Week, the event that has put Long Beach’s dining scene on the culinary map, runs through Feb. 28 with more than half of the participating restaurants offering pet-friendly “Dine & Dog” patios and sidewalk tables.

For a complete list of dog-friendly restaurants, visit dineoutlongbeach.com.

“It doesn’t get more dog-friendly than right here in Long Beach,” said Elizabeth Borsting, founder of Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant & Cocktail Week. “Our annual Restaurant Week, which happens just once a year in February, is a great time to visit Long Beach with your pup, take advantage of the value-oriented menus from nearly 50 restaurants citywide, and make some time to play fetch in the sand after a great meal.  Or skipper an electric boat at London Boat Rentals and set sail with your pooch on a Dine + Duffy excursion.”

Among those restaurants that welcome dogs are The Crooked Duck, Modica’s Deli, The Ordinarie, Long Beach Tap House, Legend’s, Dogz George’s Greek Cafe, ROE Seafood, Saint & Second, Hungry Angelina and Jade, just to name a few.

Dine Out Long Beach puts California’s sixth-largest city in the spotlight by offering experiences only found in Long Beach, including:

  • Dine & Duffy with Your Dog – captain your own Duffy boat with London Boat Rentals offering tasty options for an on-the-water experience.
  • Belmont Brewing Co. – touted as Long Beach’s very first brewery and the oldest operating brewery in Los Angeles County.
  • Saint & Second – It features all-exclusive dishes available only during Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant & Cocktail Week.
  • Salud Juice and Hungry Angelina offer plant-based only menus.

During Dine Out Long Beach restaurants throughout the city will offer an array of special menus, from small plates and wine pairings and prix-fixe menus to two-course breakfasts with mimosas, happy hour-inspired menus, and meals that can be shared. As for settings and cuisines, there is an abundance of offerings. No tickets or passes required – guests can peruse the prix-fixe menus at dineoutlongbeach.com and browse by location or cuisine.
