Donations Needed ORANGE COUNTY RESCUE MISSION

June 27, 2019

Orange County Rescue Mission is in critical need for personal care items for the 268 men, women and children residing at various campuses and the Village of Hope, the Rescue Mission’s transitional living facility.

Donated items will be shared during the Rescue Mission’s “Christmas in July” event on Friday, July 26. The organization hosts this event annually with a two-fold purpose: providing resident families a second chance at a holiday celebration, and reminding the community that there is a year-round need for donations.

This year, the Rescue Mission is in urgent need of the following items to assist families in need:

  • Canned food - tuna, meat, fruits vegetables, and beans.
  • Hygiene items - bars of soap, shampoo, underwear for kids (all sizes), underwear for women (all sizes), toothpaste, razors, shaving cream, feminine hygiene products, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and baby wipes.

Donations can be dropped off at the Rescue Mission’s Village of Hope from now through Friday, July 26. Community partners Chick-fil-A at the District in Tustin and the Tustin Auto Center will also be accepting donations. Additionally, items can be ordered online and delivered directly to Orange County Rescue Mission, 1 Hope Drive in Tustin. 714.247.4343 or visit rescuemission.org.
