OCSA Foundation Gala 2024: New York State of Mind

April 15, 2024

Experience a dazzling night at the Orange County School of the Arts’ Gala 2024: New York State of Mind, the premier fundraising event of the year!

The evening promises an authentic slice of the Big Apple, complete with food, drinks, and spectacular live performances by talented students. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa, located at 21500 Pacific Coast Highway.

The event will start with a vibrant cocktail reception that captures the essence of a bustling downtown NYC street. Guests can enjoy a virtual auction featuring unique items, alongside signature cocktails and gourmet hors d'oeuvres. The ballroom will later dazzle, transformed into the glittering lights of the Manhattan skyline, where guests will be served a three-course meal while enjoying a theatrical tour of New York. Performances will include hits from beloved Broadway musicals, performed by OCSA students.

The evening will also feature a live auction offering exclusive experiences such as VIP treatment at Los Angeles Angels and Anaheim Ducks games, a secluded week-long stay at a Mexican seaside retreat, a dream Nashville trip with backstage passes to the Grand Ole Opry, and a luxurious stay from Pendry Manhattan West to Pendry Natirar.

The “Fund-A-Dream” Auction will cap off the evening, inviting guests to enthusiastically support the arts education of nearly 2,300 gifted students. This gala is crucial in raising part of the $10 million in private funds needed annually to provide transformative experiences at OCSA.
