August 13, 2021

Swap the evening jacket for a picnic blanket and join Musco Center for the Arts out on the Aitken Arts Plaza lawn for a celebration of music, summer, and the long-awaited return to live performance on Sunday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m.

This outdoor concert experience on the Bette and Wylie Aitken Arts Plaza with Pacific Symphony Orchestra kicks off the 2021-2022 Musco Center Presents Season, which will be announced later this summer, with the perfect end of summer event for the whole family.

Symphony in the Cities will feature guest artist Strauss Shi on violin and vocalist Alexandria Burdick. Family-friendly music activities prior to the concert will include an "instrument petting zoo," a conducting clinic by Maestro Carl St.Clair, and a meet-and-greet with the musicians.
