Moonlight Gala

July 30, 2015

On Saturday, Aug. 1, tickets will be available for the Crystal Cove Alliance (CCA)’s 13th annual “Moonlight Gala” on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Crystal Cove.

The signature event, presented by The Resort at Pelican Hill, sells out each year as supporters celebrate the organization’s dedication to the protection and preservation of the cultural, natural and historic resources of Crystal Cove State Park between Laguna Beach and Newport Beach, The park encompasses 3.2 acres of coastline, 2,400 acres of backcountry and 1,100 acres of underwater park.

Funds raised at the gala will give CCA the ability to provide programs and services to community members, at little or no cost. In addition to its well-known preservation of the park’s 17 historic cottages, CCA’s innovative education programs and experiences promote science and environmental literacy for adults and students across Orange County.

Attendees will enjoy a breathtaking sunset view from the bluff top overlooking Crystal Cove, and a five-star alfresco dining experience catered by The Resort at Pelican Hill. The chance to win a three-night stay in sought-after Crystal Cove Cottage #14, a spacious, two-story beachfront cottage, will tempt guests to enter the opportunity drawing.

The event will also feature live entertainment by Brenna Whitaker and luxury live and silent auctions.

Individual gala tickets cost $400. Opportunity drawing tickets are $100 each or seven for $500. To purchase gala tickets, donate a silent or live auction item or purchase opportunity drawing tickets (winners need not be present to win), visit crystalcovealliance.org/gala or call 949.376.6200.
