Luck o’ the Irish Cocktails

Looking for a creative twist to your St. Patrick’s Day libations? The Oak Grill in Newport Beach and Selanne Steak Tavern in Laguna Beach will be celebrating the Luck o’ the Irish with refreshing and specialty cocktails.  

The Irish Kiss at Oak Grill, at a very lucky $7, is a mini pot of gold St. Patty’s day cocktail. Mixologists create it with just the perfect ratio of Jameson Irish Whiskey, Peach Schnapps and fresh pineapple juice. You can enjoy this cocktail at on one of the largest and most impressive dining and drinking terraces in Newport Beach – the new Oak Grill restaurant and bar at Island Hotel.

With a nod  to the Emerald Isle, Selanne Steak Tavern will be celebrating the Luck o’ the Irish now through Tuesday, March 17. Created by head bartender Neil Matchko, The St. Pad “Tee” cocktail at $12, is a green with a bit of froth named for owner Teemu Selanne who goes by “Tee” by his friends. It’s concocted with Jameson, orange juice and Blue Curaçao and garnished with a clover and lemon peel mini metal skewer.
