Legacy of Isamu Noguchi!

Put this down a for must-attend event this weekend. It’s opening night, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., for the first exhibition in California to focus on the legacy of Japanese-American artist and designer Isamu Noguchi.

Laguna Art Museum will also be paying tribute to Henry T. Segerstom who commissioned Noguchi to build the South Coast Plaza sculpture garden California Scenario thiry years ago.

The event will not only be featuring Noguchi's incredible body of work, but many people who worked with Noguchi during the early 1980s while he was in Southern California.

To attend, you must become a member of Laguna Art Museum and the museum is offering a special Noguchi: California Legacy membership which includes two invitations to the opening night reception, including an invitation to a special "Golden Hour" reception.

The exhibit opens for the general public on Sunday at 1 p.m. and "opening afternoon" will include a curatorial walk-through with curator Grace Kook-Anderson as your guide.

Laguna Art Museum is located at 307 Cliff Drive in Laguna Beach.
