Independence Day on the Bay

This Fourth of July, enjoy Newport Beach’s breathtaking pyrotechnic fireworks show from the shores of Newport Dunes. The historic 4th of July annual Independence Day on the Bay celebration includes live entertainment, carnival games, food trucks and a full bar.

Bring beach chairs and umbrellas for a fun day in the sun with live music from a Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival, SantanaWays, DSB Tribute to Journey, and live DJ’s. Music starts at 3 p.m. and ends when the fireworks begin.

From 2 – 6 p.m., activities include Carnival Games and Two Huge Inflatables – obstacle course and double-lane super slide. There's a raffle for great prizes.

Gates open at 8 a.m. so guests can arrive early to set up a spot on the beach for the largest and most spectacular pyrotechnic fireworks show in Orange County, sponsored by the City of Newport Beach.

Free General Admission, $50 On-site parking, $100 Reserved VIP Beach Parking.

And, on Saturday, July 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. The English Beat will be performing at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort. For nearly three decades, The English Beat continues its energetic mix of musical styles and a sound like no other.
