Free Outdoor Jazz Concert with Gil Castellanos Quintet at Soka University
Join Soka Performing Arts Center for the second installment of Summer at Soka, featuring legendary jazz trumpeter Gil Castellanos & his quintet. Gil Castellanos, a celebrated jazz trumpeter, composer, and educator from San Diego, is known for his dynamic performances and dedication to keeping jazz alive. He has played with The Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and won multiple Music Awards, including Album of the Year for his 2022 release Espérame en el Cielo.
The Soka Bistro will have food available for purchase before the performance. The Bistro, located on the second floor of the Student Center adjacent to the Campus Green, will be open from 5:45 to 7:00 PM.
