Fork & Knife Celebrates Grand Opening By GIving Back

October 22, 2020

Newly opened concept, Fork & Knife in Costa Mesa will celebrate its Grand Opening by giving back as it launches a weekly Paella offering on Friday, October 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Chef-Proprietor Jonathan Blackford will donate 50% of Paella sales to the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center at USC, where his late-partner, Doug Garn, was treated before passing shortly after Fork & Knife opened its doors earlier this month.

During the fundraising event on October 23, Chef Blackford will introduce his signature Paella, which will be offered every Friday for pick-up between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  Every week, Chef Blackford will present a different Paella, beginning with Seafood & Chorizo, cooked in a large traditional steel pan. The Paella is not available for pre-order, and will be sold first come, first serve for $28 per order.

Guests are also encouraged to pre-order from a new menu for Fork & Knife’s noted complete dinners to take home. These meals are offered online for pick-up Tuesday through Saturday with 24 hours advance notice. Changing bi-weekly, the menu will consist of house-baked Parker House rolls, appetizer, seasonal salad and side, entrée and dessert.

More information, menus and online ordering can be found at forkandknifecm.com.

Open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (closed Sunday).

Fork & Knife is located at 401 E. 17th Street, Suite A2 in Costa Mesa.
