Fifth Annual Vegan Faire, ‘One Love’

July 26, 2018

Healthy Junk, the renowned vegan comfort eatery at Center Street Anaheim, is hosting its Fifth Annual Vegan Faire: “One Love” on Saturday, July 28 from 4 to 10 p.m.

“We need a community gathering in every city, a coming together,” said Lynda Santos, Healthy Junk’s executive chef. “I wanted to bring in new people that might be afraid to try vegan food, that it would be an opportunity for them to see what it’s all about.”

Approximately 6,500 vegan and healthy life-style enthusiasts have gathered to partake in this free community event annually. This year Vegan Faire celebrates “One Love” with live reggae music, featuring Eureka Sound, Opposite Standard, Juicebox Alchemy and DJ Lex. Guests can expect a collection of nearly 100 carefully curated vegan cuisine booths, as well as a wide assortment of local artisans with wares for sale and booths offering educational services.

Local artist, Kim Tabay, invites festival goers to connect through paint, love, and unity by way of a collaborative art project titled, “Love Wall.”

In addition to the expanded footprint, attendees can unwind with vintage reggae sounds from DJ Wilton and tropical beverages at the beer garden, hosted by the Anaheim Fall Festival.

Center Street Promenade is located five minutes from the Interstate 5 Freeway. Admission and parking are complimentary thanks to its sponsors: Califia Farms, CtrCity Anaheim, Paul Kott Realty – Debbie Esquivel, City National Bank, and Farmers & Merchants!
