Fast and Fresh Italian Food

December 27, 2012

Craving fresh Italian food where you can be creative, but short on time? Stop by the new fast-casual Burrissimo in Costa Mesa  celebrating its grand opening Saturday and even giving the first 200 guests a free entrée of choice.

At Burrisimo you choose an entrée style: a Burrissimo (an artisan Italian flatbread wrap made from organic flour), a pasta  or salad bowl. Then select a fresh grill item like seasonal fresh vegetables; rosemary,  garlic and lemon chicken, crispy chicken, meatballs, steak or salmon; then  choose a sauce like pomodoro, diavolo, and alfredo, and select from more than 20 fresh toppings such as bruschetta tomatoes, Italian corn, roasted garlic and feta mozzarella parmesan and cheeses. Side orders include homemade bread sticks, pepperoni rolls, soups and desserts. And drink choices include Italian sodas, organic milk, soft drinks, beer and wine.

Also on Saturday, 100% of proceeds from all zeppoles classic Italian donuts rolled in cinnamon and sugar and served with a vanilla icing or raspberry dipping sauce will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s annual Great Strides Surf City Walk in Huntington Beach.

Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Burrissimo is at 1534 Adams Ave. in Costa Mesa in the Shopping Center at the corner of Adams and Harbor Blvd.
