Every Dog Has Its Day! Barks of Love Bash
Attention all dog lovers! Barks of Love Animal Rescue will be holding a fundraiser "Bark Bash" event on Sunday, Feb. 26, which consists of two main events at the Gray Matter Museum in Costa Mesa-- there's a family-friendly festival from 1-4 p.m., and a VIP After-Party Gala from 6 to p.m..
At the family-friendly festival, kids and dogs will have free admission, while adults will have a $10 minimum donation entrance fee. Guests can enjoy dog training and agility demos, photo opportunities, visit with dogs available for adoption, shop at multiple pet food and pet accessory vendors, human clothing vendors, snacks, music, and more. A costume contest will be held for those that wish to bring their dogs in their finest, prizes will be provided by Pet Gift Box. Vendors will include Muddy Paws, Salty Dog Studio, Arm the Animals, Just Food For Dogs, Costa Mesa Animal Hospital, and more.
For those looking for a night out for a good cause (or "paws"), the VIP After-Party Gala is for you. A $500 donation admits two guests into this elegant evening with a silent auction, fashion show, and cocktails sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka inside The Gray Matter Museum. Tickets are available at BarksofLoveGala or visit barksoflove.org for more information on this amazing event.
Proceeds will benefit Barks of Love, an all-breed nonprofit dog rescue in Orange County. It’s 100% no kill and 100% foster-based since 2008. It desperately needs to expand to keep up with the demand of dogs in need. “We often find ourselves unable to take a dog into the rescue due to lack of an available foster,” says Katie Del Vecchio of Barks of Love. “With this need to expand, came a need to fundraise and luckily The Event Loft and Gray Matter Museum stepped up to assist us in planning our largest fundraiser ever.”
The Gray Matter Museum is at 485 E. 17th St. in Costa Mesa.
