Chinese Culinary Hot Spot Opening First OC location

If you love delicious, flavorful and spicy Sichuan cuisine as much as we do, you’ll be thrilled to know that Irvine will soon be home to the first Beijing-based Meizhou Dongpo in Orange County.  On Thursday, March 16, the renowned Sichuan eatery with more than 120 locations in China, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, is opening at Culver Plaza Shopping Center in Irvine.

At the new expansive restaurant expect fresh, sophisticated Sichuan fare set in an upscale contemporary setting. The extensive menu will include its famous house special, the famed tableside carved roasted duck, along with dim sum brunch items including dan dan noodles, Meizhou pork buns, and Sichuan dumplings. Dinner favorites include such as mapo tofu, wok-fried string beans, kung pao chicken, house spicy beef and Wagyu beef with grilled vegetables.

Meizhou Dongpo will also be a great place to for private parties and events, the restaurant features three banquet rooms.
