Bonjour Bistro Papillote

May 21, 2015

It’s been years in the making for famed Chef Laurent Brazier to open his first French bistro at SOCO in Costa Mesa, and now the timing for Bistro Papillote by La Cuisine is très bien! Chef Laurent’s impressive career includes three Michelin starred restaurants in France, international resort hotels and country clubs, opening several restaurants, including his own Zagat-rated Picayo restaurant in Laguna Beach and La Cuisine Culinary Arts at Macy’s at South Coast Plaza.

Bistro Papillote by La Cuisine just opened in the former Seventh Tea Bar spot at SOCO in Costa Mesa so that you can experience a bit of Paris in Costa Mesa. You will also love the charming French outdoor café seating that’s perfect for summer and al fresco dining.

The café menu includes Chef Laurent’s interpretation of quiches, sweet and savory crepes, coddled egg (pomme puree, baby spinach, egg, baguette), croque madame – (black forest ham, gruyere, fried egg petite salade), goat cheese and mushroom tart (fresh thyme, porcini, caramelized onion), grab-and-go sandwiches and salads.

At the open-air crepe bar, you can watch delicious, fresh crepes prepared right in front of you. Bistro Papillote by La Cuisine will also be available for private events catered by Chef Laurent’s catering company La Cuisine.

Open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; and 9 am to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Bistro Papillote by La Cuisine is inside of The OC Mix at SOCO located at 3313 Hyland Avenue in Costa Mesa. 949.375.0749
