16th annual Newport Beach Wine Festival
Balboa Bay Resort will host its 16th annual Newport Beach Wine Festival on May 24 – May 26. Held over Memorial Day Weekend, the festival will officially celebrate the start of summer with a series of dinners and tasting events. Balboa Bay Resort’s new Executive Chef, Vic Casanova will be creating masterly paired menus for each of the events during the wine weekend. Guests can purchase individual event tickets or a festival pass here. Discounted tickets are available to the Grand Tasting for designated drivers.
Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel Winemaker Dinner on Friday, May 24 at 6 p.m. Featuring the iconic Napa Valley vineyards and a five-course dinner expertly prepared by Executive Chef Vic Casanova and Chef de Cuisine Josh Shapiro. $175 per person.
Mac(allan) & Cheese Whisky Tasting on Saturday, May 25 at noon.
Savor a selection of The Macallan’s finest expressions, while learning about what makes each pour unique, all with perfect cheese pairings. $90 per person.
Grand Wine and Food Tasting on Saturday, May 25 from 2 – 5:30 p.m
Enjoy 25 premium and award-winning wineries, 100+ varietals, spirit selections, an array of food stations, live entertainment, and waterfront views. $125 per person.
Patio Party at A&O Kitchen+Bar from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.on Saturday, May 25.
Relish in an evening of hand-crafted cocktails, coastal California bites and live music, all with unrivaled views of Balboa Bay. $125 per person.
Taittinger Champagne Brunch at Waterline from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 26.

Culinary Showcase from 2 p.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 26.
Attend a demonstration with the culinary team and learn how to create fresh summer fare. $75 per person.
Wine Blending Experience from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 26.
Create your own blend to take home and learn what makes the perfect blend. $60 per person.
