In response to the current coronavirus crisis that’s caused a local food shortage in grocery stores, Chef Lindsay and Luis Rosales & The Nirvana Grille family in Laguna Beach have set up a resource like no other. It’s an online Shopify store where you can order any food items that you might need and pick them up the same day. I don’t know anyone who is not affected by the coronavirus. It’s turned everyone’s world upside down. And yet, I feel very fortunate to be able to feed my family, even though I know my income will be hit hard. We’re not starving. On Saturday, I saw hundreds of cars lined up in Anaheim waiting to get food at Pop-Up Drive-Through Food Distribution thanks to Second Harvest Food Bank at the Honda Center and it broke my heart.
