It doesn’t get much better than live music at the beach. And the summer’s end tradition, Doheny Days Music Festival is back this weekend at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. On Saturday and Sunday, top headliners like Jane’s Addiction, The Flaming Lips. Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Jimmy Eat World, Steele Pulse and many more will play roots, rock, reggae and funk music. Batman Live Tonight

The must-see “Batman Live” kicks off its North American tour tonight at Honda Center in Anaheim. For the next five days, eight performances of the bold and elaborate production will transport fans to an elaborate 3D Gotham City. The action adventure show features a spectacular state-of-the-art stage, 42 cast members,  acrobats, a 105 ft. bat shaped LED video screen, pyrotechnics and the Batmobile, designed by famed racing car designer Professor Gordon Murray. Images Salon 11th Annual Cut-A-Thon

Images Salon in Corona del Mar is celebrating its 11th Annual Cut-A-Thon on Sunday, Sept. 16 for Childhelp.
