It’s hard to believe, it’s already been 25 years since Wahoo’s Fish Taco opened its flagship restaurant on Placentia Avenue, on the Westside of Costa Mesa. Today it boasts more than 60 locations in California, Colorado, Texas, Hawaii, New York, Nebraska and Nevada. More recently, 10 Wahoo’s have added full bars including Fashion Island and Huntington Beach. The good people at the Crosby in downtown Santa Ana just opened the much anticipated comfort food stand: The Grilled Cheese Spot in Santa Ana. Blackmarket Bakery Opens in Costa Mesa

Blackmarket Bakery, an Orange County institution since 2004, known for its homespun bakery items made from real ingredients, such as butter, flour, sugar and eggs (all blackmarket goods during WWII) just opened its second location at the Camp in Costa Mesa.
