Renowned drummer, Johnny Byrne who has toured and recorded with KC and the Sunshine Band, among other famous artists, brings his annual Drummer’s Showcase to the Webb Theater at OCSHA in Santa Ana on Friday at 6:30 p.m. to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This cause is near and dear to my heart, since one of my four sons was diagnosed with T1D seven years ago. I also serve on the board of JDRF. We laughed out loud at one review of the Westin Resort and Spa, Los Cabos, someone referred to as “colorful and exciting architectural gem” like a “Candyland meets Frank Lloyd Wright” and there is some truth in that.
