Whole Foods Market at Bella Terra in Huntington Beach is in celebration mode too. On Thursday, it’s one-year anniversary party lasts all day with special sales through Sunday. The event features local vendors offering samples from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; a cake cutting celebration starts at 1 p.m.; or stop by for Champagne tasting from 5 to 8 p.m. During the tasting you can sample Champagnes, cake and cheese for just $5 per person. Who knew such a simple kitchen creation could be even better? Chef Jenny Ross, owner of our favorite raw food restaurant in Costa Mesa, is hosting a salad making demonstration at noon on Oct. 15 at OC Great Park. Chef Jenny will be demonstrating a dressing recipe and sharing how to use different greens to make fresh, homemade salads.
