Snow in Costa Mesa

Costa Mesa will receive a holiday winter wonderland with 40 tons of snow, more than enough to cover an entire football field, at Costa Mesa’s Balearic Community Park on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon. The event is made possible by Torelli Realty. Families can take photos with Santa Claus in his sleigh with real reindeer, engage in fun games and activities and enjoy local food and beverage concessions, including a Kona Ice Truck. During Kids' Night on Broadway future theatergoers can attend “The Addams Family” at Segerstrom Center for the Arts for free on Tuesday, Dec. 18 and Wednesday, Dec. 19.
