Time travel with your palate Thursday evening at Charlie Palmer for Learn About Wine's Calon-Ségur Vertical Dinner. The event will feature vintage wines from every decade beginning with bottles from 1961, as well as a multi-course gourmet dinner. Calon-Ségur wines are rich and full of body and are paired perfectly with everything from rissoto cakes and spicy beef skewers to pan roasted Scottish salmon or filet mignon. Kids of Kilimanjaro

You can support the Costa Mesa-based charity Kids of Kilimanjaro, which is providing a warm school lunch to 15,000 students in Tanzania by attending its incredible 6th annual gala fundraiser in Beverly Hills. On Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the Beverly Hills Hotel enjoy cocktails, a silent and live auction and a gourmet sit-down dinner all while raising much needed funds for the students receiving the school lunch program.
