It's week two of the Golden Foodies--People's Choice Food Awards and you can vote for OC’s best local chefs, libations and cuisine of chef driven and independent restaurants for the upcoming 5th annual Golden Foodie Awards celebrated on Sunday, Sept. 25 at the Fairmont Newport Beach.   The Golden Foodie voting season is a three-week opportunity for you to vote for your favorites in each category. Costa Mesa Native Runs NYC Marathon to End Type 1 Diabetes

Costa Mesa native, Mckenna Cottam will be running the New York City Marathon on Nov. 6, 2016  to raise funds for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). She chose JDRF as her charity, in an effort positively affect people in her life. “26.2 miles is hard.
