Soka University to Celebrate 12th Annual “Peace Gala”

Soka University will celebrate its 12th annual Peace Gala at its beautiful campus in Aliso Viejo on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 5:30 p.m. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction in the Founders Hall Art Gallery and then cross the bridge over Peace Lake to the main venue, where they will be welcomed by a performance by the SUA Taiko Drummers before a gourmet dinner, entertainment, live auction and dancing. Puesto’s National Taco Day Pop-Up

Puesto, San Diego’s taco hotspot serving modern Mexican cuisine with all natural meats, sustainable seafood and local organic greens, is opening its first Orange County location at Los Olivos Marketplace in Irvine this fall. In celebration of National Taco Day, Puesto will be holding a Taco Pop-Up on Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. in front of their still-under-construction store at Los Olivos Marketplace.
