Karina Tarsadia, a 14-year-old Orange County native who has been immersed in the art of giving back from an early age has decided to follow her passion and start a movement to foster independence among youth. On Sunday, August 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Angel Stadium will proudly host Karina’s Backpack Project. Fueled by a passion to create community connection, the event will provide low-income families with elementary and middle school student supplies, resources and services for a successful school year. Kaleidoscope’s annual Kaleido Kids Carnival

Kaleidoscope’s annual Kaleido Kids Carnival returns to the Mission Viejo center on Tuesday, July 30 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Carnival will feature various games, balloon art, face painting, costumed characters, photo opportunities, and a DJ. A benefit for Make-A-Wish® Orange County and the Inland Empire. BACK BAY ART SHOW & Mixed Bakery Pop-Up Bake Sale

Socalpapa's artists are staging this summer's best ART SHOW & SALE at the  Muth Interpretive Center overlooking the beautiful Back Bay. And to make it even sweeter, Mixed Bakery, an award-winning bakery will be having a Pop-Up Bake Sale and offering some its favorite treats.  Stop by Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be hundreds of original paintings by local artists. This is Socalpapa's conservation and fundraising effort for Newport Bay Conservancy. 35% of all sales will go to the Conservancy. 2301 University Drive in Newport Beach.
