Riding the Carousel!

We're not sure the last time Greer Wylder rode the carousel at South Coast Plaza, but today at 5:30 she will be saddling up with other OC residents to fundraise for their favorite children''s charity as part of the Festival of Children. Armed only with their cell phones, riders will be asked to call their friends and contacts to collect donations for Blind Children’s Learning Center in Santa Ana, Boys Hope Girls Hope in Costa Mesa, Discovery Arts in Orange, Friends of Santa Ana Zoo in Santa Ana, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in Irvine, MOMS Orange County in Santa Ana, Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation in Irvine, Speech…

When it comes to reviewing tequila, we’re naïve. Yes, we’ve had our share of tequila shots, margaritas and tequila sunrises (in the 80s!), and even  sipped and ate our way through delicious tequila dinners at Sol Cocina and tastings at Hi-Time in Costa Mesa. However, we hardly could call ourselves tequila experts. We leave that to the good people who actually live the life, visit  distilleries and agave fields in Mexico, can taste the difference between tequila that is made from lowland and highland agave plants, and take the time to enjoy the complex liquor.
