Looking for a fun way to work up an appetite before this year’s Thanksgiving meal?  You can still sign up for the Orange County Rescue Mission’s 3rd annual Turkey Trot 5k walk/run in Tustin on Thanksgiving Day at 8 a.m.! The 5K run/walk at the Village of Hope is a great way to spend time outdoors while also helping families in need. Packages range from $30 to $178, and all registration fees help to provide hot meals to homeless families. The Tree Lighting Ceremony at Fashion Island

Fashion Island’s classic tree lighting ceremony will be celebrated two nights in a row: on Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19 from 6 to 6:30 p.m. in the Neiman Marcus – Bloomingdale’s Courtyard.
