The 2017-model OC Auto Show is around the corner, taking place October 6-9 at the Anaheim Convention Center. From FIAT to Ferrari, the annual event will feature hundreds of the latest cars, crossover, SUVs, trucks, vans and alternative fuel models. The show will also feature an off-road Jeep test track, 100-plus test drives, racing simulators, exotics, interactive fun for the little ones and more – really something for everyone.
At the OC Auto Show, you can check out all the latest vehicles in a non-selling environment, talk to product specialists, inspect engines and experience the latest automotive technology. Several new exciting models on the floor include the Fiat 124 Spider, Ford Shelby GT350, Hyundai Ioniq, Infinity Q60, Jaguar F-TYPE SVR, Range Rover SV Autobiography Dynamic, Toyota Prius Prime, Volkswagen Golf Alltrack and more. Additionally, there will be pre-production models and the KIA Telluride concept offering showgoers a glimpse into the future of automotive design.
Licensed drivers can get a feel for the performance and handling of more than 100 new vehicles from 15 manufacturers including Acura, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Jeep, KIA, Lexus, Mazda, Nissan, Ram, Toyota and Volkswagen.
You can get an up-close look at ultra-high-end exotic vehicles from top manufacturers in the Exotic Gallery. Over-the-top exotic vehicles include the latest from Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche and Bentley, courtesy of Ferrari Maserati of Newport Beach, Lamborghini McLaren of Newport Beach, Porsche Newport Beach and Bentley Newport Beach. A stunning collection of premier, high-end specialty vehicles will also be featured in duPont REGISTRY LIVE.
Children are invited to participate in the OC Auto Show Scavenger Hunt where they will search the displays with a special pass to collect stamps from manufacturers. Once they collect all the stamps, kids can turn in the pass the chance to win prizes, at the Activities Center.
There will also be a special showcase featuring Motor Trend magazine’s pick for best new car this year, along with several other contenders as road tested by editors for 0-60 mph speeds, 60-0 mph braking, a patented figure-eight test and rides down Highway 198 and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
Other special features at the show include: Lakers Girls Meet & Greet--meet the Lakers Girls and snap a selfie on Saturday, October 8, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Food Trucks--sample a delicious selection of tasty food truck eats, right outside the convention center.
The OC Auto Show is open to the public Thursday, October 6 through Sunday, October 9, at the. Show hours are from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday; 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
FREE parking at Angel Stadium with shuttle is available all show days. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for senior citizens (62 and older) and military (w/any DOD ID). Children 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult all show days.
Anaheim Convention Center is at 800 W. Katella Avenue in Anaheim.
