Women #ENDALZ Luncheon Featuring USC’s Arthur W. Toga, Ph.D.
Join us to change the trajectory of Alzheimer’s disease and all dementia at the Alzheimer’s Association WOMEN #ENDALZ Luncheon on Friday, March 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the beautiful Fashion Island Hotel in Newport Beach. This festive event features a Champagne reception, silent auction and pop-up shops from Lilly Pulitzer, SEED Peoples Market and Gorjana.
The WOMEN #ENDALZ Luncheon is driven by influential men and women to support their mission: to lead the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia – by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Women are at the epicenter of the Alzheimer’s epidemic with their estimated lifetime risk of developing the disease at age 65 is 1 in 6. Not only are women more likely to have Alzheimer’s disease, they are also more likely to be caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.
The featured speaker, Arthur W. Toga, Ph.D., Director of the USC Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute will share the latest research around Alzheimer’s and women. This year’s Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Epicenter Award will be presented to Dick Atnip. Dick’s love for his wife, Joan, knew no boundaries. His selfless devotion was and still is an inspiration to all who know him.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available at MyEvents/WomenENDALZLuncheon.
Fashion Island Hotel is at 690 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach.
