The Pasadena Showcase House

January 03, 2024

The Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts proudly presents the 2024 Showcase House of Design, featuring the historic Potter Daniels Manor. This architectural gem, built in 1902 and transformed in 1922 into an English Tudor Revival Style estate, opens its gates for a spectacular home tour from April 21 to May 19. For $65, the Golden Ticket grants access to this design marvel on any day during the public viewing period.

Alongside the Golden Ticket, exclusive Insider Packages are now available, offering tiered pricing and unique behind-the-scenes experiences. Insider Package #1 combines the Golden Ticket with an invitation to the pre-renovation Empty House Party in January. Insider Package #2, the ultimate all-access option, includes all of Package #1's offerings plus an exclusive invite to the Premiere Night Gala, a highlight event in Pasadena's social calendar, held in the spring.

The Potter Daniels Manor, a Pasadena City Landmark, has been a favorite among Hollywood location scouts, appearing in films and TV shows like "Foul Play," "Bachelor Party," and "Falcon Crest." After the Empty House Party, a team of designers will have four months to transform the estate's 30 indoor and outdoor spaces, ready to wow over 25,000 visitors.

The Showcase also features "The Shops at Showcase," offering boutique shopping, dining options, and live music on select days. This annual event is the main fundraiser for the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts, a volunteer-run nonprofit. In the 2022-23 program year, they donated over $900,000 to music and arts organizations, contributing over $25 million since its inception.

Tickets for the 2024 Pasadena Showcase House of Design are available at pasadenashowcase.org/tickets, starting at $65 per person. This is an unparalleled opportunity to experience design excellence while supporting the arts in a historic setting.
