The Lido Theater Launches Café Pop-Up Experience

November 14, 2024

Newport Beach's beloved Lido Theater is thrilled to unveil its new Café Pop-Up Experience, open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. This unique addition, crafted by Chef Shelly Register and led by Newport Beach native and Hollywood director Joseph ‘McG’ Nichol of River Jetty Restaurant Group, showcases a menu brimming with freshly prepared selections and an array of daily baked goods.

“Because of the history of the theater, it was really important that we create something that is lasting, that builds community, and says ‘We’re here for you, and we’re here to stay’—and let’s have fun with it!” commented Shelly Register, Culinary Director of River Jetty Restaurant Group’s A Market.

Café guests can enjoy a complimentary movie screening in the theater or unwind at a table on the patio under the iconic marquee. The Lido Theater Café Pop-Up offers a curated menu featuring made-to-order sandwiches and a variety of Grab-N-Go favorites, inviting everyone to savor a taste of this timeless Newport Beach landmark.
