The Carousel of Possible Dreams
On Sunday, December 3 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., The Carousel of Possible Dreams, hosted by the Festival of Children Foundation and the CHOC Glass Slipper Guild, aims to raise funds for the Thompson Autism and Neurodevelopment Center at CHOC. This center is dedicated to offering diagnostic evaluations, behavioral consultations, therapy, and medical management to children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The Carousel of Possible Dreams will feature 50 rotations on the enchanting holiday-themed South Coast Plaza Carousel.
Leading up to the carousel ride, CHOC is gathering online pledges to support this exhilarating challenge. The goal is to raise $20,000 in aid of the Thompson Autism and Neurodevelopment Center at CHOC. Through the center's unique programs, children have a centralized hub where they can explore the potential to reach their true capabilities.
Since CHOC operates as a nonprofit hospital, many of these programs are not covered by insurance, necessitating community support to provide essential assistance to our patients. Philanthropic contributions to the Thompson Autism and Neurodevelopment Center deliver crucial, unreimbursed services to children and their families, enhancing health outcomes and their overall quality of life.
