The Beloved Ho Sum Bistro is Back
Ho Sum Bistro, a beloved casual Asian eatery on the Newport Beach peninsula suffered a devastating electrical fire on June 19, 2016. Now, after a year and a half of rebuilding Ho Sum Bistro will be re-opening on Monday, January 15.
“It has been a long haul, and we are excited to get back to work,” said Ed O’Neill, owner of Ho Sum Bistro. “We managed to retain almost our entire crew, and they can’t wait to see you and show off our shiny new restaurant. So please stop in, have a bite to eat and say hello. We’ve missed you and words can’t describe how happy we are to be back!”
Longtime fans will be thrilled to order their famous Ho Sum Chicken Salad with roasted and shredded chicken breast, with lettuce and red ginger dressing; or their popular Sesame Seed Chicken Salad with roasted and shredded chicken breast with lettuce and red ginger dressing. The best of the best is the Combo salad with both salads mixed together. Ho Sum also makes some of the best Hot and Sour Soup in Orange County; as well as it Minced Chicken Lettuce Wrap with served with crispy rice noodles and crisp Iceberg lettuce.
We also love their Pot Stickers, soft on top and crispy and crunchy on the bottom. Other menu items include Ho Sum specialties such as Greg’s Garlic Chicken or Shrimp, Szechuan Chicken; Noodles, Rice, Vegetable dishes and Mu Shu.
Open 11 a.m. to 10 pm.
