Steel Magnolias Hosts Sleigh on the Bay

Steel Magnolias, an all-volunteer Long Beach-based organization whose main recipient is the Stramski Children’s Developmental Center at Millers Children’s and Women’s Hospital, will host “Sleigh on the Bay” private dining experiences on November 25-December 23 at 6 p.m. The private five-course wine pairing dinner hosted alfresco at the canal-front home of the Gesner family is $500 for four guests or $1000 for eight guests including a holiday Duffy boat ride through Naples Island. 

Only 17 spots are available – reservations can be made by calling 562.243.3858. Credit cards are welcome, and net proceeds benefit children with special needs.  

Included is a five-course dinner paired with wines served canal-side for one party only with guests having the waterfront patio to themselves. Those who book for eight guests will also receive a private captain-driven Duffy boat cruise around Naples Island to admire all the waterfront estates decked out for the holidays.
